An interfaith dictionary that clarifies basic theological terms in terms of the three main Christian denominations: Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism, and Protestantism. The purpose of the book is “to be a tool for understanding the other’s point of view on the words of the faith that unites.” Three authors present the terms from the standpoint of different religions: the Eastern Orthodox – Germano Marani, the Roman Catholics – Giuseppe Lorizio, the Protestants – Fulvio Ferrario. However, behind them is a scientific team of experts in the respective denominations.

Words of Faith is a publication of the Theological Faculty of the Pontifical Lateran University and its master’s program in interfaith theology together with the Valdese Theological Faculty in Rome.

On October 13, at the beginning of the new academic year, the official presentation of the publication took place in Rome. It was attended by the authors Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Lorizio from the Pontifical Lateran University, Prof. Dr. Fulvio Ferrario from the Faculty of Theology Valdese and Prof. Dr. Germano Marani from the Pontifical Institute for the East in Rome. They spoke about their work on the dictionary and pointed out the possibilities for its use not only by theology students, but also by all those who are interested in inter-Christian dialogue. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Ivanov also participated in the presentation of the publication. He pointed out that the dictionary can be seen as a kind of systematic course in theology, which in a pragmatic way introduces students to theological terminology.
