MEPs will quiz EMA Executive Director Emer Cooke on the latest developments regarding COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics in the EU.

In light of rising COVID-19 cases across the EU and concerns raised by new variant, MEPs debated last week developments and next EU steps in combatting the pandemic. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) called for urgent public health measures in combination with continued efforts to increase vaccine uptake.
