The Hyatt channel will stop broadcasting from January 1, 2022.

Sarajevo-based Hyatt TV has announced it will stop broadcasting due to expensive electricity. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s electricity company sells electricity at three times the price of last year.

The television announced that it has received an offer for the price of electricity for 2022, according to which it must pay 312% more than before.

“We are informing the government and the prime minister of the federation, Minister Djindjic, as well as the management of the Electricity Company, that they are forcing us to stop broadcasting from January 1, 2022 and to release 160 people who work,” the television said.
