A Texas non-profit organization and a museum teamed up to break the Guinness World Record for the largest published book measuring 2.13m tall by 3.35m wide and weighing 225kg.
Literacy organization iWRITE and the Bryan Museum in Galveston teamed up to create a massive version of the book I Am Texas that features text and artwork from 1,000 Texas students in grades three through 12.
The book also has smaller versions available for purchase.
The giant book, which has been certified as the world’s largest by Guinness World Records, will tour Texas and be featured in the HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 24 in Houston.
