Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias attended a liturgy at the Ecumenical Patriarchate Church in Istanbul’s Fener district.

In the Church of Saint George (Aya Yorgi) in the Patriarchate yesterday, a Holy Liturgy was celebrated to commemorate the victims of the train disaster in Greece and the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria with the epicenter in Kahramanmarash, on February 6.

The Archbishop of the Cypriot Orthodox Church Georgios was also present at the ceremony.

During his visit to Istanbul, Dendias met with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I and the Archbishop of the Cypriot Orthodox Church Georgios.
