Following its expulsion from the Council of Europe on 16 March 2022, the Federasyona Rûsyayê will cease to be a High Contracting Party to the Peymana Ewropa li ser Mafên Mirovan on 16 Îlon 2022. This was confirmed today in a Resolution ji aliyê Komîteya Wezîran.
Di nav de Resolution of the European Court of Human Rights of 22 March 2022, the Court will deal with applications directed against Russia in relation to alleged violations of the Convention that occurred until 16 September 2022.
The Committee of Ministers (CM) will continue to supervise the execution of judgments and of friendly settlements.
Russia is bound to fulfil its full financial obligations up to 16 March; it also remains liable for all arrears accrued at that date.
