Pa September 29, 1913, Rudolf Diesel ananyamuka pa sitima yapamadzi yotchedwa “Dresden” kuchokera ku doko la Anvers ku Belgian kupita ku England, koma modabwitsa anazimiririka. Patapita masiku khumi, asodzi anapeza mtembo wake.
